Other routes, traced according to historical sources and signposted “Chemins de Saint-Michel”, follow several sections of this long-distance hiking route: the Paris route, the Rouen route and the Chartres route.

The Association des Chemins du Mont Saint Michel issues pilgrims and walkers with a carnet du Miquelot, modelled on the credencial of the pilgrims way of Santiago of Compostella. It gets stamped at each stage of the way, so as to materialise the completed portions of the route. On presentation of the booklet, pilgrims can stay at the pilgrims shelter at Mount St. Michael (do book in advance).

If you are stopping off or leaving from Montligeon, you can go to the Shrine reception desk to have your Miquelot booklet stamped.
