How do you get ready for death?

Don Paul Denizot, rector of the Notre-Dame de Montligeon Shrine.

Nowaday, death does not appear to be at the forefront of people’s concerns anymore. Even in the midst of an unprecedented health crisis, people approach death from a technical, scientific and statistical point of view. The existential side of it is overlooked. We don’t think about our death or our finitude. However, there is one certainty, i.e., one day we will die. However, facing death might allow us to live. Speaking to Guillaume Desanges for RCF Orne, don Paul Denizot explains how to get prepared for death.

Don Thomas Lapenne, chaplain of the Notre-Dame de Montligeon Shrine.

Others try to escape and avoid it as much as they can, in a desperate attempt to delay their hour, when they will have to surrender. “Should we be afraid of dying? Are we all involved? Can transhumanism save us from death? Thomas Lapenne addresses these questions and others on RCF’s Sanctuaires normands program.
