The Renovation Works in the Choir of the Basilica have Started

The first stage of work on the basilica’s choir began on Tuesday January 13, with the erection of the interior scaffolding for the dismantling of the stained-glass windows to allow their restoration.
Thank you to all those who are supporting this major and essential work campaign.

Before the 8 a.m. mass, semi-trailers parked in front of the basilica’s south entrance.
The workers unload the tubes, then carriy them three by three to the small choir.
At a height of six metres, work turns to acrobatics.
Who watches over whom?
Still majestic, despite the scaffolding that girdles it.
Around Mary, the workers are busy.
