From July 5 to August 23, 2026, the Basilica of Our Lady of Montligeon has been hosting the international exhibition on Eucharistic miracles designed by Saint Carlo Acutis. Through forty display panels, visitors of all ages were able to rediscover the genuine presence of Christ in the Eucharist.
An exhibition designed like a scavenger hunt
Families were able to discover the exhibition in a fun way. They could choose the ‘scavenger hunt’ adapted to the age of their child. The path could be opened on a cell phone and you would let yourself be guided one step after the other through the basilica.
Carlo Acutis, a saint who resonates with today’s youth
Carlo Acutis was a young man of the 21st century. He loved soccer, video games, and computers. Like many teenagers his age, he lived with the tools and pastimes of his time. However, he had discovered a treasure that guided his entire life: the Eucharist. Carlo Acutis summed up this discovery in a phrase that has become famous: “The Eucharist is my highway to Heaven. ” For him, Mass was not merely an outward ritual, but the place of a real encounter with Jesus Christ. Thus, he sought to help others—especially young people—better understand this mystery.
Using his computer skills, Carlo Acutis created an exhibition dedicated to Eucharistic miracles around the world. His goal was simple: to show that Christ continues to give himself in the Eucharist and to lead everyone to Him.

Prayer Vigil
A prayer vigil was held on Saturday, July 11, at 8:30 p.m. It was led by the Sisters of the New Covenant in the Basilica of Our Lady of Montligeon.
Self-guided tour for families and children
Admission to the exhibition at the Notre-Dame de Montligeon Basilica is free. Children and families were able to explore the exhibition through a scavenger hunt available on-site. This approach allowed visitors to engage with the content in a simple, gradual, and hands-on way.
Visitors were also be able to take a moment of quiet prayer in the basilica, submit a prayer intention, and entrust it to the intercession of Saint Carlo Acutis. This visit was thus an opportunity to provide a time of prayer, discovery, and remembrance of the deceased.
An Exhibition on Eucharistic Miracles in Montligeon
From July 5 to August 23, 2026, this global exhibition was on display at the Basilica of Notre-Dame de Montligeon. It featured 40 panels dedicated to Eucharistic miracles recognized in various countries.
These miracles are an invitation to rediscover the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. They do not replace the Church’s faith, but they can help us enter more deeply into the mystery of the Mass. Furthermore, they remind us that the Eucharist is at the heart of Christian life.

Presented at the heart of the global sanctuary dedicated to prayer for the departed, this exhibition takes on special significance. In Montligeon, prayer for the souls in purgatory is rooted in the Mass and in Christ’s sacrifice. Consequently, exploring the Eucharistic miracles with St. Carlo Acutis also helps us better understand the connection between the Eucharist, eternal life, and the communion of saints.
Déposez vos intentions de prière jusqu’au 15 août 2026
The prayer requests were deposited in the Chapel of St. Gemma, where a space was set aside for St. Carlo Acutis. They were then taken by Marie-Anne on August 15 and delivered to Assisi on August 20, 2026.
