Fr. Paul Denizot was the guest of EWTN-Live show on Dec. 8, 2021. Together with Martine Courvoisier, the shrine’s Assistant for the English-Speaking Missions, he explained the origins of the shrine of Montligeon, its apostolate of prayer for the living and for the dead, insisting on the utmost importance of praying for the dead. They also evoked the chapel of the deceased little ones, within the basilica where parents and relatives come and entrust the child that did not get to be born to our Lady of Montligeon.
Furthermore, Fr. Paul Denizot showed one of the very first registers kept in the obituary cabinet of the basilica of Montligeon. The register was of 1907. It presents names of deceased people from the United States and from Great Britain enrolled that year in the Fraternity of Montligeon.
